Three new corners of Azeroth

WoW Forever zones named in the reveal include Mount Hyjal, Zephras Isle and Riverglades. The announcement also describes expanded areas, new quests and additional group content. The official gameplay trailer is the best starting point for seeing the reveal’s visual presentation.

The Blizzard collection page confirms new and expanded zones, while BlizzCon reporting names the three areas. This guide records what has been revealed without turning a location name into an unverified route or level recommendation.

Mount Hyjal

Mount Hyjal is one of the new zones named for Forever. It is also a name with a history across Warcraft releases, so a search result for “Hyjal” may describe a different version of the world.

Before following an old map or guide, check whether it actually applies to Forever. A familiar place name does not establish that the terrain, quests, entrances or progression are the same. This edition does not include an independently verified Forever map or a quest-by-quest route.

Zephras Isle

The official store associates Zephras Isle with the new Skyborne starting experience. If this is the part of the world you most want to see, begin with the Skyborne field notes and check the current product requirements.

The connection between a race and a starting experience does not establish every travel rule for other characters. Access beyond the starting quest line, later travel and account requirements need their own confirmation. We do not fill those details in from the general announcement.

Riverglades

Riverglades is the third named new zone in the reveal. It belongs on a list of places to discover, but this source snapshot does not establish a full quest order, recommended route or complete set of rewards.

Use the official footage for a first impression of the world. As with the other zones, early visual material is a preview of development rather than a guarantee that every detail will remain unchanged. A reliable route guide will need information from the playable content.

The first dungeon trail

The WOWTBC.GG reveal overview lists the following dungeon names and preview level ranges. These are reported ranges, not independently tested access requirements. The broad announcement mentions nine new dungeons; the list below contains the seven specifically named by this source, so it is intentionally incomplete.

DungeonReported preview levels
Hall of Thanes13–18
Excavation Site24–29
The Drowned City35–40
Krol’dok Stronghold40–55
Alcaz Island Prison48–53
Blackmaw Hold55–60
Shaper’s Terrace58–60

A level range can help you place a dungeon in a rough plan, but it does not tell you how difficult it will be for your group. Entrances, quest prerequisites, encounter mechanics and loot tables are not included in this snapshot. We also do not substitute a dungeon from another Warcraft version just because its name sounds similar.

New raids in the reveal

The same overview names The Barrow Deeps as a ten-player raid and Hyjal Summit as a twenty-player raid. Those are useful group-planning details, but they do not establish the full encounter roster, release phases or final difficulty.

If you are gathering friends for Forever, use the sizes to discuss your plans rather than treating them as a final schedule. The Beta and release guide gives the published game dates; raid-specific availability still needs its own source.

Turn a list of places into a plan

First decide what you want from the journey: exploring a new area, trying a different class or organizing a group. Then use the class explorer and race comparison to connect those plans with a character choice.

This guide will be most useful when read together with the original reveal and its source notes. It does not pretend to be a finished atlas of a game that has only just been announced. The known names are here, and the unanswered questions stay visible instead of being hidden behind a made-up route.

A look at Darkspear Islands

Darkspear Islands battleground reveal in the official Warcraft Forever gameplay trailer

The official gameplay trailer introduces Darkspear Islands as a new battleground. This frame is from 1:47. Watch the source moment. The scene establishes the announced setting; objectives and final match rules need more than a still image.
