Charge in Defensive Stance
Vanguard allows Charge while in Defensive Stance. It sits in Protection row four: 15 earlier-row points plus Vanguard's own point gives a minimum of 16 Protection points. You can reach it at level 25; at level 30, five points remain for other choices.
Open the Warrior planner and choose the level you intend to play. The Vanguard example loads the requirement path so you can inspect and adjust its earlier talents.
Three changes that affect a plan

Iron Will's duration reduction changes how long control lasts. Compare that effect separately from a chance to resist control entirely. Use the class comparison to read each effect beside its Classic counterpart.

A 31 Arms / 20 Fury / 0 Protection split can reach Mortal Strike when its prerequisite path is satisfied. It cannot also buy a Fury row-five first point: that would need 20 earlier Fury points plus the new point, or 21.
At level 30, the entire budget is 21. Start with a reachable goal, then decide how the next levels develop toward the deeper ability you want.
Plan for the next encounter
Before a dungeon run, agree whether you are tanking or dealing damage, which enemy to interrupt and who maintains the armor debuff. Consider the stance you will use for each action and the Rage you need to keep available.
Save two separate plans if you want to compare different roles. Use names that include the level and purpose so the next session opens with a clear goal.
