Set your level and point budget

Choose a class and the level you want to plan. You gain one talent point per level starting at level 10: your budget is level minus nine.

Character levelAvailable pointsA reachable goal
2011Develop the first three rows.
2516Warrior Vanguard in Protection.
3021Holy Shock, Penance, Mutilate, or one rank of Improved Shifting Power.
4031A row-seven goal such as Sniper Shot.
6051A deep primary tree with points left for a second tree.

The six examples above open with the target selected and the required points allocated. Use them as a starting point, then adjust the earlier choices to your role.

Unlock the next row

Each deeper row requires five more points in earlier rows of the same tree. A row-five talent needs 20 earlier points plus its own first point, for a total of 21. Arrows add another requirement: the linked prerequisite must be at maximum rank.

Open a talent to see its effects at each rank. A point in a later row cannot help unlock an earlier row. When removing points, refund a dependent talent before removing its prerequisite.

Add, inspect and refund points

  1. Select your class and level.
  2. Click a talent icon to inspect its effects. Use + to add a point, or open the detail card to add or refund.
  3. Watch the three tree totals and remaining points as you work.
  4. Before lowering the level, refund enough points to fit the smaller budget.
  5. Use Reset to start again, or load a community build and adjust it.

For example, a row-seven first point costs at least 31. At level 60, that leaves 20 elsewhere. A second tree's row-five first point needs 21, so those two goals exceed the 51-point budget by one.

Save and share a build

Enter a name in My builds and save. This device can keep up to 20 named builds; saving the same name replaces that entry. Use distinct names such as “30 dungeon” and “60 target” to keep two plans.

Copy link shares the selected class, level and talents. Your private build name stays on this device. Use Download saved builds to keep a local backup before switching browsers or clearing site data.

Choose a community build for your task

Browse five allocations per class, with 45 builds across all nine classes. Compare the tree split and the selected deep talents before loading one. Some plans leave points unspent so you can make the remaining choices.

For a lower-level character, look at the order in which your key abilities become reachable. For group play, consider the control, recovery or defensive talents your party needs. After loading, you can restore the preceding unsaved allocation with Restore previous build.

Continue planning your character

Use the class comparison to understand changed abilities, the race-class matrix to choose a character, or the spellbook to check resource costs and use conditions. The dungeon preparation guide helps turn the plan into a group trip.
