Before you gather: decide which quests matter

This page uses Ruse_Cruize’s Forever-specific Mobalytics guide, updated September 21 and checked September 22. It is a community source, not Blizzard documentation or our own playtest. Its quest list is Horde-only.

Useful stops from that guide:

StopQuest to look for
Neeru Fireblade, Cleft of Shadow, OrgrimmarSlaying the Beast
Rahauro, Elder Rise, Thunder BluffTesting an Enemy’s Strength; Returning the Lost Satchel
Varimathras, UndercityThe Power to Destroy

Our route-planning advice: check your current journal before traveling between cities. If the group is already waiting in Orgrimmar, agree whether a distant quest is worth delaying the run. Do not assume every player is on the same step of a chain simply because the quest names match.

No fixed XP total, entry level or full reward table is claimed here. Beta rewards can change, and quest eligibility is a different question from whether the group can complete the instance.

Entrance and encounter landmarks

The community guide places the entrance in Orgrimmar’s Cleft of Shadow. Inside, these are the useful landmarks and mechanics it reports:

EncounterLandmark / hazardParty response
OggleflintRight-hand branch near the first hallway; CleaveLet the tank establish position before melee joins.
Taragaman the HungererCentral platform; knockback and nearby Fire Nova damageTank away from the edge; ranged and healer keep distance.
Jergosh the InvokerMiddle of the last room; two accompanying enemiesAssign an add for Polymorph if available before pulling.
BazzalanRamp on the right of the last room; poison pressure on the tankTell the healer when pressure rises; identify a usable poison-removal tool.

Use these landmarks as preparation, not a measured map or a mandatory speedrun order. The world directory covers other destinations; this page focuses on a run you can discuss with your party.

A practical pull plan

The following is our group plan derived from those hazards:

  1. Before each boss, put everyone on safe ground and confirm the healer is ready. Pick a clear kill target when several enemies are present.
  2. At the central platform, agree where the tank will stand before engaging. If a knockback moves the fight, regroup on the platform instead of chasing carelessly toward an edge.
  3. When using crowd control, tell the party which target is controlled. Keep area damage away from that target until the group is ready to fight it.
  4. Before leaving the last room, stop for a journal check. Ask about unfinished objectives or interactions while everyone is still nearby.

Open your class in the spellbook to review available tools, then verify the learned rank in your client. A guide mentioning a spell does not mean every character in the party has learned it yet.

Should you run it again?

Repeat for a specific reason: an unfinished quest, an item someone wants, or helping a friend. If the goal is leveling, compare the next run’s likely benefits with nearby questing rather than treating the first quest turn-in as repeatable income.

Record travel and group-formation time alongside the run itself if you are comparing efficiency. Our first-dungeon checklist helps make that comparison; this article does not promise a fastest route or a particular drop.
